Today I started the bike and all the dashboard bulbs in the background didn't work , while the others dashboard bulbs worked (high-beam, indicators etc.).
I'm guessing the background dashboard bulbs are connected in line, so one is burn out.
Is it so?

not in line, BUT parallel! Better U check, is there 12V in base of both bulbs? Some voltage peak can burn both same time. That have happened to me. Anyway very cheap normal glass base bulbs.... :thumbup: Btw, does all other light(parking lights, especially) function normally????

Those contact cleaners are safe to use in Your case. Dashlights function allways same time, as parking lights, so if U want parking lights work alone, then need some wiring mods, but its quite strange way....

I only want the dash bulbs work when the lights are on.
Perhaps, I spoiled the sliding switch...
