Post subject: | Winter fix questions |
First winter w my 907, checking everything mechanical & electrical. My flywheel had some funny marks on the edge. Do I have a problem or is it just something from the manufacturing of it? The tank is centered w a plastic thingy. I`m told it`s not original, what should it really look like, anyone has a pic? I guess it`s vital for the tank`s position and later the fairing. There is supposed to be a handle for lifting the bike onto the centerstand. What does that look like, any pics? Any handle from another model that fits? |

Same handle system in every Paso modell. You shouldnt be worried about that Your flywheel, IF You dont find any broken parts inside left cover. That Your mark can be surely from factory also and pick up dont go close that part, It goes just those 4 notches, one can be seen in that Your foto. Anyway check, do You find any broken pieces under left cover? !!! That plastic piece under tank is NOT original and as You quess, i think also just same way, that its just to adjust fairings to "better" position..... ![]() |

the first picture looks like the flywheel flew out of the chuck during machining of clamping the part. second picture: this should by a rubber "mushroom" to support your tank. the plastic you have is to hard and can damage the tank due to vibration causing cracks. A lot of japanese bikes use rubbers like that. If you cant get an original parts you maybe try that. Ducbertus |

Photos are easy because I have just stripped my 750 Paso back to the frame for a winter overhaul. I have taken a lot to make sure everything goes back in the right place. If you need any more let me know. The handle fixes behind the passenger footrest on the left hand side of the bike: The rubber mount in position and then upside down: |

Thx, guys! ![]() ![]() No findings of metal so I guess no problemo w flywheel. ![]() Thx f pics of handle & tank center. Looks like the tank center is not excentric, just a puck w a hole right in the center. Correct? |

Correct - it is hard rubber and perfectly symetrical |

Early 750 Paso did not have the handle to help get the bike on the main stand. Mine does not have one, if anyone has a spare would be keen to buy it. Thanks. Fraser. |

Another electric question: Has any one tried to converte from our 350W/2phase charging to newer 3phase/520W charging? Not asking if it is difficult, just, CAN it be done? And one mechanichal: My alternator nut had no washer between nut & alt. Seems strange. 906 manual says there should be on safety washer you can fold/bend. SO, I guess there shold absolutely be a washer here on 907? The thick 2mm kind or the bendable one? |

Is the front support bracket for windshield, frontlight etc the same on all Paso models? |

Different part no, dash mount seems also different so 750 bracket don`t fit. Alternator don“t look too good when tightened w/o washer so I`m gonna get one. And Loctite as always. |
