Hi, according to the manual the fan switches on at 92°C. I`d say normal operating temp should be 60-80°C. (120-170°F), while the "red zone" starts at 120°C (250°F) G. |

If you're asking because your temp gauge is very hight, you have to know the 907 always has the gauge quite hight, above all when you stop the bike, as at the traffic light. In the summertime, or you always run, or your ass will go burnt ![]() ![]() ![]() Ciao |

I'm an air cooled guy but is it reading water temp?? If so, shouldn't it read whatever the thermostat (one warm) is set for or above? |

Jon, you`re right. ... water cooling. I didn`t think about that. Considering this I would say normal temp is still as stated but red zone starts at 100°C. |

Hi, my 907 runs the most of the time 70 degree celsius. sometime a little bit lower, when the ambient tempereatures between 0 and 10. Summertime, I never saw 90. I know from a friend who has a motocross tuning store, he's aiming for 70 degree. At this point the 2-stroke engine performs the best, and I don't why a 4-stroke should be differrent. The max. temp can be above 100 as the system is slightly pressuraised. ducbertus |
