Bought a Corbin seat, should be a better seat, right? Compared w original seat: I slide backwards, more weight on rear - spongy feeling. ![]() Lower back more bent = back ache. Very firm cellfoam, bones in rear end ache after 1 km (but doesn´t ache more after 50km... ![]() If I slide all the way back, I have to sit very upright - strange posture - backache. Impossible to find same position on bike as OEM seat - bad weight distribution & to much on rear). Summary seat position - more custom feel. ![]() So, what am I missing? |

Gert, Not sure how it could be so poor. My secondhand Corbin seat is a beauty (even if it is bright yellow - must do something about that) it certainly feels different to OEM seat, but provides significantly more support; particularly over longer distance. Fraser. |

I am wondering if you have a gunfighter, or a gunfighter+lady. I have a gunfighter, and an oem seat. I switch between them. The oem seat is a lot firmer, but I use the corbin for long rides. I even recently went on a 400 mile ride about six weeks ago. Is your seat brand new? Perhaps it will be more comfortable after its broken in a little. I certainly hope so. ![]() |

You can sit back further in the seat with the Corbin, you don't have to sit on your Family Jewels & squash them each time you go over a bump like you do on eth original seat. Give it a little time to get used to the Corbin, it is a better shaped seat & will offer greater comfort than the original. Maybe you are the person the original seat was designed for & don't suffer these problems. I am 6 foot tall & find the Corbin a huge improvement because I can sit further back on the seat. My partner prefers teh new seat as well. |

I have this Corbin on my Paso.... I really can't evaluate it compared to the stock seat as my stock seat has been shaved and I haven't logged any miles on it. I have put about 400 miles on the Corbin, but it's been on short jaunts of 50 miles or less and it has been fairly comfortable. I mainly have it on the bike because I like the way it looks with the red piping (that trim stripe around the back of each section of the seat). |

Would probably look good, yes. But it it gives you a bad riding position. Does anybody want more weight on rear? Seriously? |

I love my corbin saddle. I can do 800 mile days no problem on it. |

Donaldoduck, nevermind the seat what about those pipes, nice interpretation! Did you do that yourself? Please tell me that is NOT a restrictor hanging out the back of the pipes though. Nice 907 ![]() |
