Post subject: | Battery Tie Down |
Anybody have an extra factory battery tie down pieces? My bike does not have any tie down parts in battery tray and my parts catalogue does not show these pieces or what they are nor how they are installed. Thanks |

there are none, if you refer to some sort of tie down straps. There are only some rubber blocks that hold the battery in place |

Gravity. It's the law. No tie downs. Ducati's way of saving weight and money :-) |

Thanks boys, I do have the rubber stops in place. Battery is alittle smaller so it is not a snug fit but will be ok, sure can't fall out! Still seems strange not to have it completely secured like EVER other bike I have owned and have. Oh well, hope sparks don't fly under my butt! |

I`m also useing a smaller battery (GS GT12B-4 like in most newer Ducs). I used a piece of foam rubber to hold the battery a bit better in place. |
