Hi paso people!!
I took the bike in for a roadworthy last thursday, the guy at the garage said, everything is good but...shes a bit on the loud side..depends who you get it may not comply...then again they might pass it.
On saturday I took the bike to Vic Roads (not before painting some stainless steel scouring pad with black caliper paint and shoving it down the cans to quiten things down a bit, amaizing the difference it made) the old guy checked that the lights etc worked, but didnt even start the engine.
Riding back on Springvale rd (one of the busiest roads in Melb) I gave it a bit of a squirt at the lights and both pads shot out 10 sec apart and instantly increasing the noise by 400% (that would of been funny to watch)
the bike goes really well, it has an awsome midrange, a real pleasure on the open road...but the rear end kicks like a mule...  I last adjusted the suspension around '94 when the missus was riding with me and was also using the givi box... before I start turning things...can someone with suspension knowledge help me with the adjustment to do with damping and rebound for a 'one up' setup for the 907.
any help appreciated
Claude

apologies for my lazyness... I just found a post by JWilliams (nov 20 2008) ha explains... 35 to 45mm sag, when sitting on bike, then damping (large dial) on 3 for solo and rebound (small knob) 11 clicks out from fully wound in, that should do the trick    and should be ready for the ride this sunday
