hi all, I have no pressure in my clutch and no fluid leaking from the slave cylinder so i'm thinking the seals in the master cylinder are history. The thing is i'm not sure how it comes apart from the choke assembly ?. i can see two pegs that go into it but they dont want to pull off ( i guess theyve been in there for nearly 20 years) so wont budge and judging by people telling me that spares are hard to come by i dont want to break anything. I'm thinking of removing the choke assembly with it as one unit, sliding it off the handlebars if i cannot get it free any ideas ![]() |

Disassembling this is a PITA, f sure.... There are 2 small screws holding high idle lever assembly to master reservoir. To release choke wire, loosen it & take it out fr lever. Then, turn lever til it reaches a point where you can just take the 2 plastic parts apart. No violence, this procedure may cause bad language, patience is your friend. |

My brother bought it new and when he bought something bigger in 1981, I bought it from him. That's where the "sort of" comes from. |
