Hello to all, I've been lurking for a while now and figured I better jump in. Great site and tons of good info. My 907 i.e. is due (actually past due if you go by years) for belt service. I have searched past posts for which belts to purchase and have come up with some that say it is a 17mm belt and others that say it's an 18mm belt. I'd like to do the job all in one fell swoop, so I really don't want to pull the bodywork just to get at the belts and measure them. Can someone chime in and tell me which belts to order? I have given both of the Gates #'s I've found to our local belt supplier and he is saying the #'s aren't coming up with anything :banghead: , so maybe I need a supplier as well.
Thanks in advance for any and all help, Doug @ 8000'

You can't get the Gates belts in the US. Bevel Heaven or California Cycle works can supply you with the correct fit.
I have the numbers here somewhere but can't find them at the moment. Will try to locate them later, sorry :banghead:

I spoke with Steve at BH and he said he does not think he has belts for the 907 i.e. He suggested I come here for more info to see if he can find them for me. I'll try the other place as well. Thanks

Sent a message to CCW, looks like they may be able to help, but I didn't find the belts right off in their catalog. D@8K' :)

I just put belts on mine and used referance # 40021A. I got them from my local Ducati dealer in Austin.

They're probably the TB100's.

Got one hanging on the wall. It says on the sticker:
Ducati Part No. 73710011A Z=70 The teeth are rounded
It also says: ST2 '98
M900 '99

The teeth are rounded. The belt is 18mm wide.
The new ones are made from a Aramid fiber and last a lot longer.

Thanks for all the help. I ordered from CCW and have a manual coming as well. Hopefully I can quit riding with my fingers crossed soon. Happy Trails, Doug at 8000'
