Greetings I was going to do the coil wire upgrade and was following the various writings on the subject for 750s and 906s.
Of Course the 907 has different coloured wires.
Now one wire goes to earth some where back in the loom, so thats Ok.
The other wire;
Is it OK to just splice the relays into the + wire? I am guessing it won't affect the ECU or any other electronic bits. This would mean cutting the wire before it disappers into the main wiring loom.
Would any one also recommend cutting the earth wires and doing a new earth point closer to the coils [and using a thicker wire]?
I have done the starter upgrrade [4ga wire] and that hass been a great sucess, but sometimes it still starts a bit poorly, backfires, one cylinder etc, so I am hoping the coil upgrade will cure it. ta nigel

did I answer my own question??????//
I had a thought about the electronic ignition, does the ECU send a signal to the coil as needed or is the power always on. If its a pulse, would a relay react fast enough?
