I've started the work to get my black 907 back on the road and I have noticed an oddity. This is what the top of the fork tube looks like on my remaining red bike: and this is what the black bike has: Anyone have any ideas why the difference? |

the only that pops into my mind is that the grip of the knurled surface is better, meaning that if you didn't torq the yoke-bolts properly the leg doesn't slide through the yoke that easy. Bertus |

That would make sense. I want to know why this one of the three 907's I have owned is the only one with this. Does anybody else have it? |

The original forks from my 907 have the knurling on them. It's also a black bike. |

Its an easy thing to do.............with the proper equipment, not sure its needed as it will add an extra path for salt and water to do its dastardly deed ![]() |

I have a set of 907 forks that have the knurling. The brake bosses are for a 300 mm rotor, not the 320 rotors. Bought them off e-bay, so don't know what color bike they came from. (they are going on my 750 Sport project bike) |
