Post subject: | 907 Throttle cam |
Good evening guys, could someone do me a favor if they have access to their motor and take a pictrue of their throttle cam? If anyone has one out and that would be better. Reason I ask is I have a search saved on Ebay motors for various Ducati whatnots and under an 888 search this AM a throttle cam came up and I was thinking of doing mine; the manufacturer wants a picture of a 907 one... I don't personally have the insight but maybe one of you can tell me if a 907 throttle cam is the same as any other model? Thanks in advance. |

Hello rhythminblues, What the hell is a Throttle-Cam? Does it make a film of your inlets? ![]() I've got many pictures of my bike, even in pieces. If you can explain what you need, I can help you, maybe. Rainer |

One way to make a quicker turn throttle is to fill in the cable grooves on your throttle tube. I have filled in the grooves on a few bikes, and it works just fine. A faster turn throttle, and same cables and everything else. If you look at it, there is no need for the deep cable grooves in the throttle. The cable isn't going to go anywhere. Cheers, |

I did mine with epoxy meant for plastic, but zip ties work too. Anything to take up space, and made the diameter bigger, which pulls more cable. I suppose a good hot melt would work too. Just clean off the throttle tube really well. I used a carb cleaner spray, then sanded it a bit to roughen up the surface. 5 years running so far. Cheers |
