Ok, so I am still looking and have a few choices I have the low ish miles one on ebay currently which isnt running right, I expect that will go for £1900 ish, no history & bought with a fault.. looks so clean though I have a black one with 21k on it and some early history, he wants £2200 I another person kindly offering me his mint 1 owner bike with 15000 miles on it for around £3000 I am really stuck here, I actually love the black but is 21k a bit high on the miles?, I know a 1 owner bike sounds fantastic etc but £3k is just maybe a stretch maybe I should wait for a low miles black one... any opinion? thanks Undecided of Paignton |

Hi Jimmy, welcom here. when the bikes you're looking for have covered 15K or 21K, they are both low miles bike. mine has over 65.000 kM and still sound. more important is to know the history of the bike and how long the owner had the bike. even with low mileage bikes you will have some issues. All these bikes are now 20 years of older. anyway, happy hunting ![]() Bertus |

Hi Jimmy. Buy the Black and buy the better Red! For the price of a high millage one in Oz you could have a pidgeon pair. Doesn't get better than that! Cheers. Nick. |

I would also tend towards the most expensive one if that has a complete service history and no service backlog. You know what a service costs, tires, chain kit etc. Just calculate what every bike needs and what that will cost and add that to its price. Sometimes the more expensive bikes are the cheaper ones in the end. G. |

Well spoken G., and than look into your wallet and decides which one is the best fit. some cosmetic things can be done later, as the engine/drive-train/brakes related items should be handled with less possible delay. Bertus |

More up front cost is OK if the extra money is due to recent service as in belts and valve adjustment and hopefully tires and chains and sprokets. A lot more important if you have to pay to get the service done In the end it comes down to your budget and your skills and what will make you happy as they say these days, "some things are priceless regardless of what it costs" |

£1400 4 owners and the right colour http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290941995029? ... 1423.l2649 not met reserve yet, wait till it ends then call him and haggle. OR IMHO:- Buy the best you can afford it works out cheaper in the end. |
