O.K. I've tried searching the forum but all my searches always end up with reams of unwanted information. So I'll have to ask here I'm afraid.
I have decided I need to replace the front and rear brake piston seals on my 907ie. They have been in there for at least nine, possibly eleven years, or maybe even longer.
I can bleed the brakes well enough but can't stop the pads rubbing on the discs.
I know I can take the pistons out and clean the seals (in my experience, removing the seals usually damages them) but I may as well do a proper job while I'm at it. I may well find that I need to replace the discs as well, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. Cheaper to do the seals first anyway.
Can anybody tell me where I can source piston seals in the UK, please?
I tried ringing my nearest Ducati dealer but, as usual, it goes straight to voice mail.
I'll be o.k. with buying outside of the UK, but speed is of the essence now; I need to get this bike finished sooner, rather than later, as I'm under a lot of time pressure with other outstanding tasks waiting in the wings (Picture folded arms and foot tapping impatiently, if you get my drift

. Pull out the pistons and seals an give everything a good clean , especially the grooves the seals sit in ( I use meths and a small brass /bronze wire brush ) and coat piston and dust seals with rubber lube designed for brake components ( cheap as chips from a brake specialist ) and reassemble. You have nothing to loose and will probly save time and money
