This should be an easy question to answer. I downloaded the 907ie workshop manual from this forum, but there are a few pages missing in section D. As you would have it, it's pages I'm looking for. Does anyone know the Cooling system capacity for the 907ie?

From memory, its 3.5 litres. I've changed it a couple of times, and allowing for spillage, the 907 has taken about 3 litres each time. If you haven't completed the CBR neck mod, squeeze all the pipes and what have you as you are pouring it in. If you don't, an air lock will form and before you know it, you will have coolant spilling everywhere.

If you want the missing pages, drop me a pm. I'm away for about 2 weeks from Saturday. Take your pick, I can scan and email, or drop it in Aust Post.

Cheers.

Nick.

I'm just about to do a coolant change. I'm going the Evans waterless coolant route. I can finally ditch the expansion tank as I've done the CBR600 cap conversion
I've set my expansion tank up to act as an overflow tank. I will keep it insitu for a few thousand kms just incase, but I don't think it will be needed as this stuff boils at 375'f and isn't supposed to expand. :D

Paul at Weemotorsports in Kalamunda (WA dist.) was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I've bought 6 litres so I can have a full fill waiting at home if I ever blow a hose out on the road. For those that don't know, Evans waterless coolant lasts the life of the engine.

What's the story with the cap conversion? Where can I find out more...Tried searching this forum with no luck, but maybe I'm using the wrong terms.

after checking with Nick we can confirm that there are no pages missing. The 907ie manual is a supplement of the 906 manual. If the 907ie states that the coolant part is on page D13 that refers to the 906 manual.
