now bike is in my garage! i work on it sometimes, never i see a ducati bike.!i remember ,when i was young and was working in a italian garage. a lot of components are similar like lancia or alfa cars. first step i check valves and replace timing belts, clean throttle body and replace fuel line.rebuilt gauge cluster. check all parts, have only a little issue on rear suspension, think a leverage arm. hope are ready for first start next week. i work on it very careffully, because i never work on this fantastic bike.i was working on jap bike, bmw,hd,but never on this very different bike ,like italian are in the word. i'm very entusiast, bye |

ok,i have this.and there is a connection under dash with 2 8mm screw. i find and buy this piece on web. another question:how the underseat fairings are connected on fuel tank? i have 2 big hole on fuel tank and 2 6mm screw with a litle rubber cylinder on fairings. i think there are some pushin connections but see nothing on spare parts catalog. or there are only screw from underseat to side fairings? |

early bikes had rubber inserts and pins on the side panels. Later bikes left out the rubber inserts and only had square pegs All had 2 6mm holding the side panels to the rear of the side fairings |
