So. Battery recharged. New fuel filter, air filter, and fuel pipes.
While other people were sitting with their heads in their hands as the England football team lived down to expectations yet again, I was air-punching in my own mini celebration.
Could be that I actually get the 907 on public roads for the first time in 10-11 years this year.
Just got to finish sorting out the brakes and the million other things that crop up whenever I start one job - - - - Then it's MOT time and photos of me riding off into the sunset :) .

You should aim to join the gathering in Mid Wales in September! Well done.

Thanks.
I won't know until I've ridden it anywhere if I'll be able to keep it, so I'll have to hang fire on Wales.
I've never owned a bike with such a 'sporty' riding position, so it all depends upon how my ageing back, knees, shoulders etc, etc, cope with it. I'm just gagging to ride it the few miles to the MOT place at the moment. The front brakes are the main obstacle at present. I'm about to swop the brakes line over to a two-line system, so I'll see how that is. Watch this space - - - -
