Hello to all, Well another stange story... Currently living in Singapore and heading to Switzerland by the end of the month, I did ask a friend of mine in Europe if he would agree to sell to me one of his Ducati. Answer was positive and here I am, owning a 907ie without having seen it but for three poor quality pictures... 65 000km on the clock and red. Since winter starts to hit Switzerland, i will take the time needed to service it hoping for better days. To start with, i did place an order yesterday to Ohlins to have a rearshock beeing built for it. Agree with the ones who will say it is a lot of money thrown at the Paso, but I have so much great experience with the sweedish suspension so far. I would be happy to link with other swiss based owners if any. Oh I forgot to mention : I am french, therefore the title.... Cheers, Sergio desmo |

Hi Sergio. Welcome to the strange land of owning a Ducati Paso/906/907ie. I don't think it will be a lot of money to throw at an older Ducati! If it gives you that little edge that makes you enjoy the ride, then it is all worth it. 3 poor quality pictures are the start. You will start taking pictures of the bike in front of the house, in front of the local Café, and before you know it, you have an album full of pictures. Keep up the good work Oh, and I forgot to mention, I am in Australia most of the time. Others will put up reply's from other parts of the globe. Its what we do... Enjoy the ride. Cheers. Nick. |

Hello Guys, nice landing in Zurich, gosh it is cold here in this part of the world !!!! My friend Patrick did deliver me my 907ie and it is standing now in the living room to avoid being killed by the cold. What a luxury having the bike in the living room! Not sure my wife would let me bring a bike in the lounge? I did bake the paint on an exhaust down pipe in the oven! The house stunk of burnt paint ,I don't think I will do that again. |

I thought only my brother had managed to do that , it set all over the cooker and the house was filled with Toxic Fumes! I still have a tin that I use on my small 2 stroke chains it lasts forever! |

Hey I want to get back to Sergio telling us just how he talked his wife into having the 907 in the living room. What's the secret? I know I could look at that bike all day long and not get tired of it but I think the Mrs. would throw me out in the street or worse, throw the Ducatis out in the street. Good going Sergio! |

My wife does let me have 6 bikes and never mentions anything about all the parts I buy, but bringing a bike in the lounge would also see me and the bikes on the street! Perhaps people in Switzerland are more tolerant? . It must be great having a real work of art in the lounge ! Paintings don't do it for me! |

Ok I shall agree that the WD40 smell is a bit persisting in the house this afternoon... Or this is the coolant liquid... Well anyway, I told my wife that if she feels dizzy; that must be the altitude.....  Spark Plugs changed Coolant changed Belts changed Lithium battery on New Fuel filter in the tank Brake pads new New levers for clutch and front brakes Tomorrow : Ohlins rear shock Engine oil Change electrical cables for 16mm2 section ones and the following weekend I will do the valves clearance check and adjustment. Have a cool week end guys

still valves clearance to be done and KN air filter... new lockheed and technical control by Swiss authorities to get the green flag.
