I'm replacing my starter. I don't have the Ducati alternator cover puller. I discovered that the Norton Commando tool P170, engine gear puller, is exactly the right dimensions. Now, this tool isn't much cheaper or more available than the Ducati tool, but if you ever had a Norton like I did, it works!
