Hi everybody, I've recently purchased a 907IE that is in great order but needs a few things to get it up to my desired standard. Are there any recommendations for businesses that supply parts for Pasos? I'm in Melbourne, Australia but don't mind ordering from overseas. The specific parts that I need are hand grips and a rubber circular guide that the speedo cable runs through on the front fender (pictured). These are listed as thus in the parts catalogue: Grip Pair: 36140021A Rubber: 079791070

Grips are like undies , get whats comfortable and the colour you like. I can recommend gel grips. As for the cable guide, if your not anal about original parts ,just take a wander round bike shops till you see something you like and buy one , probly the biggest deal is the mounting hole size. That cable holder is still usable. Just punch or drill a hole through the middle and use a cable tie to hold it. I'd do that also with a new one. If the cable pulls on it when you steer from lock to lock the speedometer cable is not the correct length. Maybe there were different grips on the early an later 907IEs. The early ones had these grips: https://app.box.com/s/99zr8hvlxf/file/822811138943 |

Thanks for the replies every one. I'm not 100% sure on what the "correct" hand grips are for a '91 but I'll be happy so long as they look period-correct. Both Gowanloch Ducati and Belt and Bevel look like really useful sites, thanks for the tip. |
