As far as I can see there's no immobiliser on a Paso. What alternatives have members used? GPS tracking? Data dots? Disc alarms? The previous owner of my Paso used a tracking device manufactured by Milwaukee called Tick but that utilises bluetooth and doesn't seem super reliable to me. |

Did any bikes have that in the early 90s?! I've got an alarm w/ immobilizer on mine. For short trips I used to have a brake disc lock from a scooter as that has a pin small enough to fit through the holes in the discs. If you want to be really safe you probably best combine a mechanical lock with an electronic system (which has its own independent power source in case the battery connections are removed). |

no one will ever steal a 907ie, the first thing a thieve does is dropping it , the suicide stand is a good deterrent already. then it is heavy and without many grabbing points... someone will ssay "they will push it"... year right , if you dont know what you are doing you will pinch your thumbs netween tank and clipons and then drop the bike, so you are back to swuare one. and I am not even mentioning that no millenial does even know what a Paso or 907 is... |

An immobilizer won't help if someone comes and picks it up in a van. If your insurance will grant you better premiums with an immobilizer will they except everyone? I'm asking as some may have a list of systems they approve. I've heard good things about https://www.sizzapp.com/en lately. It's very similar to the Monimoto tracker but doesn't require a yearly fee. |
