If hard to find such relay, it is very easy to put line fuse holder and suitable fuse to it, as that fuse is only IN SUPPLY SIDE of relay main wire to relay contacts. This is not anykind "rocket sientics" at all

It's not hard as you can order it from Stein Dinse (with some delivery time) and you can find the one from Wittrin and Valeo (Italamec), too. No problem.  A normal dual outlet relay in combination with an inline fuse would work as well.  The question is if one would want to cut into the wiring harness. To some electrics is witchcraft.

There is no any need to CUT original wires, as easy to make such "connection wire" with suitable connectors between original wiring and that relay and if need to chnge to normal wiring, then only take that "connection wire" away and viola, then its again normal wiring. I have been over 42 years as elecrician, so i know very well those all connector types and how to get then to work together. Gerhard: Dont You belive me now? |

Antti, I never had any doubts in you. I just didn't think about that possibility. How would you do it? Remove the connector from the relay socket and connect the 'connection wire' to that? |
