27k miles, 2 owners from new, 1992 K reg T&T til Jan 2010 When i bought it back in October it had been stored in the back of a factory for some time, luckily it had been serviced not long before being stood, as it has great tyres, pads, chain and sprockets The Webber has been stripped and ultrasonically cleaned, it has new Shell Ultra Fully Synthetic Oil and a new filter, the sides of the tank have been resprayed as there was some rust where the panels had rubbed, i have spent ages going through the electrics to change some pins in some multi blocks and i have now protected it all with some silicone grease. I also spent ages on the clock unit with contact cleaner getting it all to work. It has a new neutral light switch, oil pressure light switch and side stand switch so that all the idiot lights work as they should. I have fitted new rear wheel and sprocket carrier bearings and a new battery. She has had a top end rebuild, honed barrels, new exhaust valve guides, all valve seats recut, valve clearances belts and rollers have done less than 1k miles ago. Also later upgraded engine studs fitted. She has done a 1k mile round trip to the TT and back since and was perfect. The bike is datatagged She has gazelle satinless steel end cans |
