I'm looking to replace the slightly bent forks on my 750 sport with either another set of marzocchi M1BB's or a set of M1R forks with tripples from a 16" rimmed paso. Hoping that someone out there will have some left over from a 17" conversion. I'm also interested in 1990 sport fairings. . . and hen's teeth! Thanks, Kristian |

Thanks for the info G. The straightening option is great to know about. I had seen the ebay listings but was hoping to find something closer to my budget! The M1BB's are looking good price wise--at the moment at least. Kristian |

all you need to straighten a fork is access to a press, preferably hydralic and a straight edge,or a dial indicater( hell I've done it with a nail, once used a pencil, was in a hurry)) and 2 v blocks and a flat surface, as long as there are no kinks, creases or breaks in the metal it is pretty easy to do, if its kinked, creased or broken it can still be welded and repaired. Actually you don't really need a flat surface, just a stable surface that wont move around. But if you really want to buy a set,I'll sell you mine for 600usd ![]() |

I think the local shop that ended up with the whole front end off my 750 Sport still has it sitting in the back. They would probably sell it pretty reasonable. Silverback Performance, St. Paul MN 651-228-3021 I also have two 750 Sport tail sections. $75 each plus shipping. |

Thanks speedmade I will give them a call and will take one of those tail sections if it's the silver and red color scheme. You can contact me at kristianburford@hotmail.com. |

If all you need are the tubes, you may want to consider contacting Forking by Frank (http://www.frankmain.qpg.com/). I hear he does excellent work and his prices are fairly reasonable....but I have no experience with him. |

I picked up a set of forks on ebay yesterday for a reasonable price. They are not the upgrade (m1r) but on the up side I will not have to get new clip-ons or steering damper clamp. When I got the bike I had to helicoil the thread in the slider that receives the axle bolt (it was in the process of re-fitting the forks that I discovered that they were also bent) so I feel good about getting a complete replacement rather than performing more repairs. Thanks for everyones advice/input. Had some good leeds on the fairings but still looking/waiting. Kristian |
