I'll admit compared to a Paso ridden on Italian Roads it might not be that "clean" but for a British registered machine ridden throughout the year including winter for the daily drive to work according to the owner? That is a clean machine and certainly a lot better than some recent ebay examples offered. |

I'm on the look out for my fist Ducati and Went to look at this today, it's a very honest bike. Bodywork is not the tidiest, missing a few mounting bolts and some have been replaced with odd ones. Was originally red. L/H can is scraped, sounds good when running and doesn't smoke at all. Has the all important 17's and MoT and TAX. Clutch and front pads need doing. Guy wants £1250 for no less, which for me is a little too much. |

That actually is not far off the mark for a 907ie in that condition certainly above £1100 if it was RED then most likely £1500 plus. I think it may be a case of negotiation and a best realistic offer left to consider. The other alternative is to keep looking but it's certainly the best I've seen for a while privately, I have also posted a recent thread for a dealer sale I found and that was around the £1200 mark but almost twice the mileage done |

Going to look at the Red one with twice the mileage tonight. The red one is at a dealer and looks more original. Will have to see what condition it's in. The yellow one would need £200 spending on clutch and pads before it goes anywhere so it's a £1450 bike already. Personal prefernce I guess but I'd prefer another 20k miles over non factory colours (yes I know I could spray it back ![]() The guy won't take ANY offers on the yellow machine. He'll either keep it or part it out. |

Good luck, I agree with your thoughts there, shame another one will get parted though, sign of the times in some way. I've noticed that some of the early Monster examples are now suffering the same fate with a big helping hand from ebay. |
