Hi pals,

I need to find a reasonably low mileage front cylinder for my 1988 Paso for my almost finished engine rebuild. Mine is out of the factory specified wear limits......

Preferably in EU as I live in Spain and I'd like to avoid custom's greed....

Thank you!!!!

If you do not find one in the EU I have one in the USA.

Thank you, laverda, I appreciate your offer.

My real problem is that I have already bought a cylinder in US through ebay but Spanish customs have sent it back because they have made a fuss with a new agent they have here...

If I cannot get any info from my lost cylinder and no nearer offer, we'll talk!

Thank you again..... I want my Paso on the road!!!!!!

there`s also a set on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ducati-1 ... ccessories
but I`d guess you`d find them cheaper.

I think Any 750 Cylinders will be fine for the purpose.

Im Italy there is a company who will rechrome your old ones and bring them to specs matching the set of new pistons you have; it is the same company that does (or used to) the work for Ducati, BMW and Guzzi, and they have a departyment where they do custom work, reconditioning and rebuilding.

I sent mine with a new set of pistons , they sandblasted the ousides and re-chromed the liners with 250 Euros (5-6 years ago)
