My thanks to the Paso community. This bike has a new home. 1988 Paso 750, with 13,000 miles. Completely sorted out with new belts and valves adjusted properly, acid free battery, new o ring chain, all done 2000 miles ago. Starter rebuilt in April. Maintained very well and ready to ride. Strong motor, starts easily, rides beautifully all day long. Very, very comfortable. An excellent example of this classic Ducati. Weber carb has been replaced with a pair of Mikuni flat slides, with an easy to reach fuel petcock. Fast by Ferracci pipes and mufflers sound great. Bike runs very smoothly throughout all rpm's. If interested, seller can arrange a conversation with the mechanic who did all the restorative work. Bike is in located in Pennsylvania 19073, convenient to interstates. Asking $3000, reasonable offers considered. There may be others out there at a lower price, but you will need to put a couple thousand into them to equal this machine. Contact: edbuffman@comcast.net. Higgy, I don't know about the Weber. It's best if you contact Ed at edbuffman@comcast.net for detailed questions. What I can say is that I've seen the bike and ridden with its owner. It moves along smartly with no issues. The roads of South East Pennsylvania will never be the same. |
