hi group i have 91 907 that I dismantled some years ago. Whilst I brought it in good faith with no accidents, upon having all the fairings media blasted I found it has been dropped. but no huge cracks. So the details of whats been done & needs to be done; rebuilt motor, new pistons & barrels, rockers, valve guides By Bob Brown [yes, the legend!] front forks & rear shock rebuilt by Greg Fairthorne, ASR Suspension , MT Martha Every steel bit has been media blasted, frame, stand, tank, etc. They are not painted & would require a light touch up to remove surface rust,or just paint over with PPC POR15 [which is what I was going to do], or powder coat. Both rims re powder coated in white. one Front bearing is loose. All plastic /fairing has been media blasted to remove old paint & filler. New sticker set. original & Corbin seat. Givi rack? I think its got one, but Ill have to check, but no top box has those funny wavy rotors! Added; Ceramic coated exhaust headers Samco silicone hose set Staintune mufflers So apart from the fairings, all the expensive stuff has been done, motor, suspension, I may look up the dollars spent, but I will need a ambulance I guess....:-)) I just don't have time or space to finish it and I have another 907 that i ride anyway.... How much? well I paid $7k for it plus &500 shipping, plus motor, plus suspension, plus blasting plus plus plus, but as we all know that amounts to zero in my case, however considering the work done to engine & suspension I'm asking $5500. Any less & I may as well do it myself & sell it for more, but I then will probably keep it...somewhere! So get me in a weak moment! with paint you will have essentially a brand new restored bike and these are selling for $10,000 plus please email to blazing928s4 at g mail dot com or call Nigel 0412 125 277 |
