Pretty sure Monster 900 1994-03 and 851/888 is the same. |

definitely not. Those don't have the swingarm linkage. If the swingarm is damaged, it can be welded. |

In short, the chain wore thru the swing arm and it looks like it's just at the cage of the bearings. If I knew a good welder here, I would attempt to see if it could be saved. Now I know why the previous owner cleaned everything off but the crud on the swing arm. Lol. This bike is definitely a learning experience too. I'm really starting to get higgys post. I did buy one off ebay but the seller had to refund my payment because he didnt realize he no longer had it. I think I found another one but I'm not going to believe until it's in my hands. |

Thats what happens when the chain is to loose, but that aint the worst Ive seen . I would not panic about that to much , make sure the chain is properly tensioned and fit a new chain slider ( snigger)to the swingarm and try not to think about it . H |
