I know a few folk come from where this latest earthquake and Tsunami is - just wishing you guys well and hope you are all safe.

I hope for the same! I remember the last big earthquake which was just 5 years ago.

Just some broken china, nothing of any consequence. The garage was a bit of a mess as many containers were flung off shelves and the Moto Guzzi was rocked off its stand and was lying against the bench. No damage, everything else was OK. Many buildings are still unable to be occupied, my wife's office is still closed, 3 days now.

Yeah Im here and just fine ..............slept right thru it .I was in Burwood ( hospital ), whacked out on whatever was in that PCA. ( I got a whole new hunk of metal bolted to my femur , and a new bone graft).
Fraser , your garage was a mess way before the earthquake , pleased to hear your ( bikes , family , and pets) OK

Less movement up here in Paraparaumu Beach. Only a few small things displaced. But woken up in the middle of the might, suddenly feeling like one was on board a ship at sea, and then with no power for a hour - a bit scary.
