I did download the M1R manual from the download pages some weeks back. Now I have reorganized it (images in correct order) and put it all into one pdf file to be viewed and printed using acrobat reader. It's still only bitmaps, I don't have any OCR software available. All I did was to rearrange the page sequence and put it into one file. So it's still big, approx 1.5Mb.

Very cool! Thanks for going through the trouble. I haven't checked into the document yet but I know it's going to get some use this winter when I pull the front legs off the old girl! (yes, my Paso! And no, I wouldn't refer to the mrs. as the 'old girl' unless I wanted her to cash in my life insurance policy!)

No, I have not done the modification myself yet. By the way, I have no Paso, but I have a Paso fork on my Ducati Mille S2. In that fork, I have WP springs (and filled oil according to WP reccomendations) which suits the Mille better than the original Paso setup.

I`m using Hyperpro progressive fork springs (and have also a progressive rear spring not yet installed though). I`m very pleased with them. The fork finally shows that it absorbs shocks, you can actually see it movong ! :umm: Before it seemed quite hard. Of course these springs also come with a different fork oil (SAE 2.5).
I think this change was a big improvement. I got this set also for 2 other fellow Paso riders and they both felt the same.
My personal feeling is that the best is when you don`t weigh over 90kg otherwise it`s probably better to stick to the original ones.
Main reason being that the first response of the fork is faster and softer and at a certain weight the springs will already be slightely in progression from the body weight.
We`re around 72-80kg. The kit from Hyperpro costs € 129,-. I found ours on ebay a couple of years ago for under €99,-. I think that money is well invested.
