So, Reports of the last aftershock centred on Lyttleton and damage to the tunnel made me think of what it might be like to be caught in there during a quake......shudder..... Which prompted me to ask if all the kiwi board members in ChCh are all safe and sound with minimal damage to their surrounds I hope? Cheers, Mick |

Hi Guys, Would expect that it will still take some days before we hear from any Paso owners in Christchurch. No deaths and few injuries but plenty of damage. However, at this time checking your favourite web site could be a bit of a low priority, assuming communication, electrical supplies and your PC are still good. Here in Wellington, about 400km away, it woke us up on the Saturday morning. Cheers, Fraser. |

Fraser - have to agree. My intent was to make it so when they do get power sorted and kids back to school etc and get to logging on there's a topic waiting asking after their general well being ![]() From what I've heard from others back that way it was really really lucky it struck at the time of day it did (4am ish?) so the pubs and clubs were empty but the day hadn't really started yet. Scary stuff. |

Here is one of his creations. There you go, not bad for a "made at home" effort. |
