On my way down from Mt Palomar, I passed what was once a Chevron station on CA76 in Pauma Valley. Now it's just a dull beige auto service shop. Next door is a "convenience store" which means you can buy stuff you don't need at very high prices, but hey, a guy needs a pick me up every now and then. This is an area where folks grow lots of avocados with a beautiful mountain in the background. Today was the last ride on my Paso, sadly, because I intend to decommission it until I figure out what to do about tires. Thanks for fixing the images...still haven't got the drill, even though I posted from Photobucket. |

Too much code this time. At PB you need to copy the little windo that says IMG code. None of the other codes will work |

Thanks, Marty. I did that paint scheme when I first bought the bike back in '88. Along with the yellow accents, I painted out the dark gray lower on the fairing, painted the wheels to match the bike (I have a weakness for red wheels) and had the graphics simplified with white. It turned out pretty good, but now 21 years later, the original livery is looking very appealing. Maybe Mr Tamburini had the better idea after all. |
