I've been meaning to ask this for a week or two, and mickster prompted me to start a new thread...
What kinda of gas mileage do you get with your Paso?
I'm getting 31-32 mpg running 87-octane (USA regular fuel). The mods I have on the bike are dual Dellorto carb conversion with pod filters and Cobra F1 exhaust slipons with the stock 15/38 gearing. I'm hoping to tweak the carbs a little bit more to see if I can get better mileage. I was hoping for closer to 40 mpg.

With 15/37 sprocket set-up, pipes, FIM chip on my 907 I get 52MPG on the highway and 47MPG in mixed riding on 87 octane. If I flog it hard in the twisties it will drop to 42MPG. I have found the sprocket set-up really helps.

You guys running 87 octane, any timing changes required to do so? My bike runs so well that I hate to mess with it.

I have been running 87 since I purchased the 907 in 1993. 30K miles later and 15 years I have had no fueling issues or timing problems, knock etc...

45MPG regularly. You need to sort your carb jetting and if your just getting to ride her then maybe too much time hard on the throttle? :-)
