Carl,

Start with the simplest things (usually cheapest too) first and work your way up to the more difficult things. I would really look hard at the electrics and the proper voltages. When I got my Paso it would run like crap and overcharge the battery. This lead me to the wiring changes and by accident, a MUCH better running engine because the electronics and coils were getting the design voltage.

Don't give up!

BTW I live in NY but I'm pretty sure I've been to Granbury. A bit South of Dallas right? Wolf Hollow or Wolf Creek power station is there.

Granbury is Southwest of Fort Worth about 40 miles. It's 37 miles into work anyway. There is a Wolf Hollow plant nearby and there is also Commanche Peak.

I'll work on the simple stuff, like finding my spark plug wrench and multi meter. It may take a while to get to it though as I am also rebuilding a wing and need to get that finished up. Thanks for the advice. I'll be posting results and probably asking more questions.
