I have misplace my Closer Measurement Tool. i am headed to my old bosses home & need to measure the closer... Any ideas of how I could do it without the tool? Or what the lead measurement is.

I measured the length of my aftermarket closer tool, using my cheap Chinese micrometer, and found the length to be 0.5995 inches. I have no idea whatever what the length of a genuine original Ducati tool might be.

Nor do I care. If the dealer lets me do a trade, I already know what the difference between the old closer and the one I am looking for might be. As long as I use the same tool, I know that what I want is .005" longer or .002" shorter of whatever, and I can select from the dealer's stock.
