Oh!yes!...weber not work properly...16' inch wheels are dangerous and without spare....front light is night terror....wrong aerodynamic design fairing......mirrors with limited view...poor electric circuit...and e.t.c.Why #$5@ing we keep this machine as possible original as born? :wacko:

BECAUSE IS THE MOST EXCITING DUCATI EVER. :truck:

Weirdly indeed my P750 start,sound, and run smooth with original weber.Of course btwn 4500-6000 rpm suffer but I .... accepted long time now. :thumbup:

I have heard "hundreds of times", that Weber function better in 906 than in 750 Paso. I quess, Angelix talked about 750 Paso. One of my friend have still Weber in his 906 and it runs well. I replaced my Weber with Dellortos(40mm=too big for my P750 engine) and at end converted to Mikunis (with 750SS Stage 1. Dynojet kit) and i really dont miss anymore thirsty Dellortos, or Weber....

But everyone who "love" such Weber, can surely use and tune it to end of life.... and live with "flat spot" in midrange... :smoke:

I've had my P750 for 12 years. Little did I know when I bought it that the previous owner had the Weber "adjusted". Other than the fuel pressure control, the only other change was a hole patched and drilled emulsion tube. It ran wonderfully at 5000 feet and up elevation (Denver, CO). Then I moved to sea level and had to learn about Weber tuning to rejet it. I tried lots of things but staying with the adjusted e-tube and changing slow and main jets was all that was needed. At sea level it DID have a very slight hesitation. BUT having had new bikes, it was no worse than the new bikes EPA lean tune. Now I live at 7000 feet elevation. Retuned Weber to this altitude (slow and main) and it again runs great with no burps or hesitation. I love this bike. What is all the fuss about. Oh, and in these days of "replacement" mechanics and EFI, where are you going to find anyone that knows about fuel tuning with brass.

Off topic again sort of,but one more can't hurt.I'm not one of those that's into bastardising perfectly good machinery so It looks like I'll be keeping my classic Paso original,warts and all.Sure I've made some 'tweaks' to the electrics and other areas,but I would classify them as unfinished work by ducati meccanica rather than bastardry.If I wanted something that I could just hop on and ride then I wouldn't have purchased a classic ducati would I ! Just my two bobs worth anyway. Jayh.

Jeez, my first time on the site in a long time and the first thing I see is that this Higgy guy is a D**K . The weber is wrong for a bike PERIOD . Sure they made it work but it was patchwork crap. I am an instructor at the biggest tech school for motorcycles in the country. I have had a 750 paso on the Exhaust gas analyzer and it would run different CO% on the sidestand or centerstand. It's fine to just ride it around, but to talk smack on someone because you consider yourself an expert is not cool. And using some clapped out Goldwing mod as your "webers are good" example is hilarious. Sometimes when the rest or the world disagrees with you it means you're WRONG.

Well it does look like you help a lot of guys with their bikes so maybe I spoke too soon. (which would be totally in character for me). Guess I shouldn't judge people by the first post I read.
