Actually I think it´s a Custom/Cruiser tire.

The Speed Class is H (=210 km/h) and the tire looks quite similar to many Sport/touring tires. Take a look at the picture on the address below, it´s the exact same tyre. Cost me 99 Euros (including installation on the rim).

http://www.motorengas.fi/images/tuottee ... o/r743.jpg

Couldn´t find the tire at Shinko USA website, I guess the equivalent is this one:
http://www.shinkotireusa.com/product/product.php?id=15

(the picture is of a whitewall-tire only available in 130/90-16)

I see that Avon do the following AM23 sizes:

140/80VB16
160/80VB16
180/60VB16

These seem to be track tyres so should handle well.

The Avon AM23 was discontinued a couple of years ago.
The 180/60-16 would now be a AV72 Cobra, the 150/80-16 an Azaro AV46 ST (see latest document of compliance from Ducati Germany in my dowloads thread).
The other sizes are no option.

Just FYI, I dunno details of this problem:

Got a copy of a mail between 2 big tyre distributors over here:

A customer is using Pirelli Sport Demon 120/80 V16 & 150/80 V16 on a 16" Paso.
38 istead of 40 sprocket, rear cold be difficult to take air when switched to.
Front fender had to be raised.
Rear was 160mm wide when mounted.

I have proved 150-80-16 in my Paso and it was not a good idea. This tire needs an inner tube to be inflated. An inner tube is 1 kg more, and this tire is very thin. The surface on the road is very little when you ride on a twisty roads and this surface finish suddenly. You always ride in the edge of the tire.
I have running with muy rear Shinko 747, only with a rear 8 mm spacer, without modify the front sprocket and I have no problems during 5000 kms.
I bought it in www.neumaticos-online.es but I checked the list and this tire don't appear.

I have bought a Pirelli Demon for my front wheel, but I have tried a 130-70/16 size. When I'll ride with it I'll put some photos.

Hey G...have you gotten around to riding your Paso, yet? I'm vurious about the front sprocket arrangement. My machinist has been too busy to do much of anything lately. He was machining an aluminum rear wheel spacer for me and heated it up too much and warped it. That's the last thing I need. He said something about making one out of stainless, now. Since it's free, I can't really complain, but I was hoping to have ridden it a few hundred miles with the shimmed sprockets by now. Maybe I'll get the last parts from him as a Christmas present. :D

Hey, Pompone!

Thanks for the nice pics.

Listen, I used to teach English in Spain when I was younger, and I just can't stop myself here. Your English is very good, but there is a mistake you and a few other guys are making a lot here.

We don't use 'prove' (probar) the way you guys are using it. The words we use in this way are 'try' (intentar) or 'test'.

So where you say 'I'll prove it...' you should say instead 'I'll test it...' or 'I'll try it..' or 'I'll try it out...'

OK?

All the best,
Erskine

Very good Skins  It would be nice, if i make some mistakes and You correct it then. I am not upset from such and i take it as "learning better basic english". Its good, that someone, like You, read posts just with that "eye" and teach us to write better english

... and have to remind, that, for me, it is very far from my native language ("mother language"?) :)
