For anyone in need, there a couple of 907 front fenders on E-bay currently. They fit the M1R fork, and a 17" front wheel. Make sure you get the fork brace/fender mount plate with it. The flat one from the 750/906 wont work.

Cheers,

fredskidoo, thats right. lets keep the paso alive in any way possible. i,d love a 907 to complement my 906 but i dont think putting 17" wheels on the 907 is the answer when there are 16" tyres that will do the job. the cost of all the mods will get me half way to another bike and my 906 will be a 906.5.  :)

Frankly - I wish that my weber performed like the stock one in my Fiat Brava - with a secondary - I loved opening up the Brava to eat 320i's alive - imagine what that would be like - to be able to open that secondary on a Paso - Wooo Hooo

Hey Ethan
I had a 320 that would give your Brava a run for the money. But then my favorite was my old 2 stroke Saab 96,easily would kick both their arses        was a handful in the twisty stuff tho

Ah - The Saab - fine machine . . .

Is this the one that levels out as one gets in the drivers seat
and lifts back up on the front left of the car (US) as the driver exits?

Man, I'll tell ya - I've got to have airbags in any car that I own these days. There is just no point to it otherwise.
As for kicks, well all of us here know where to get ours!

The Brava I had was built for import to California.
All smogged up and stuff - strangest thing ever I discovered
when having to replace the 3-speed automatic transmission.
- It was a General Motors product.

Out with that dog and in went the 5-speed, pedals, dash and
after several thousand miles I broke the driveline doughnut
(universal joint), the rear axel traction/sway bars and then
during a 1300 mile camping trip the transmission partially separated from the engine block.

Fortunately I had come prepared with 5 (yes 5) C-clamps that I promptly secured everything (starter too!) as best as expected
(I was in Yosemite Natl. Park).

So after several days of washboard dirt roads from Mono Lake, Bodie , Lake Tahoe (fresh bolts!), Mt. Lassen and the Trinity Alps I came to discover that the driveline had ovalized the rear oil seal of the transmission output shaft. No repairing THAT!

Thus I finished that road trip with an IV of gear oil hanging from the rear view mirror feeding directly into the gearshift assembly.

Laughable really - but I was only 23, working at a strip club in San Francisco and undoubtedly much more concerned with chasing that beautiful young lass I was "Camping" with

Needless to say I loved that stupid butter yellow Brava.
I built the heck out of the 1.8L , DOHC, 4-cyl Hemi (Yes-Hemi)
with that wonderful, throaty 2bbl Weber and the far superior 5-speed manual.

Ethan, That's a Sonnet, mine was 96 Monte Carlo and it was the Citroen( frenchie poontang) that did the self leveling bit

This is a Saab 96 MonteCarlo in yellow of course, as you said Pale Yellow

No that's not me, I have no gray even tho I am older than dirt  I once pulled a tow truck out of a snow embankment with that car. The driver in disbelief asked me how much he owed, Too his surprise and the delight of his very pretty girlfriend I replied " give the next guy needs your assistance the job for free." Somebody some where I am sure got a pleasant surprise

Many a Porcshe fell to that Saab story

Ah - 3 cylinder 2 stroke - thats crazy!
Is it front or rear wheel drive?
I'm thinking that motor would make an
awesome powermill for an offroad buggy.

I love that"The driver in disbelief asked me how much he owed"
part to your story Higgy. . . tables turned

Man and his mechanical endeavors . . .

Front drive IIRC,
and nothing wrong w that engine, won lots RAC & Monte Carlo rallyes in the 60`s.

I still remember the relaxed feeling of driving w the freewheel function.....
