Hey, Who knows which cam pulleys from later models will fit the paso 750.I'm looking to replace the old pulleys on my 600 pantah motor that I'm rebuilding at the moment with something that I have a little more faith in and they appear to be the same as those fitted to the paso.There are a few on ebay at the moment but the sellers don't seem to know if they will fit the earlier models or not.I know the 4V pulleys wont fit. The Paso 750 has square thooth belts which to my knowledge were only used also on some Pantah (i.e. 350, 500SL), 600SS (95-97), 750SS (94) and the 750S.
You can of course fit cambelt pulleys from later models (not sure about the ie models but definetely the carbed ones) but as these used round tooth belts you´d have to change them all which is what I did as these are better and easier to find. The 906/907ie have round tooth belts/pulleys btw.
Why wouldn`t the 4V pulleys fit ?

So the camshafts are the same diameter and keyed the same on all of the later model 2v carbed models or are there models that should be avoided ? I was aware the pulleys were a different profile,and I would have to change all of the pulleys and the belts,just unsure of which ones would fit my camshafts. Thanks J.

what I can say is that all the pulleys on my motor are from a carbed 750/900 SS/Monster. The belts of course are from a 750 as the ones from a 900 are longer.

The modern pulleys (e.g M620) are "adjustable" and that is an advantage when you need to fine tune the engine (camtiming, please refer to http://www.bikeboy.org/camtime2v.html)

I fitted them to my Special 750 engine and i know they are a straight swap; I am not 100% sure but i think you will need to replace all the pulleys (heads and crankcase) in any case i recall beying lighter that the originals I had on.

I'll keep them in mind for my Paso,when I rebuild it Angelix,I just purchased a set before I read your post thanks Jay.
