Hi!
I have mounted a 12V socket on the black metal piece below the dashboard. Were is the best point to connect the wires on the front side of the bike? It does not matter if it is 12 V permanent or not- permanent would be better. Any idea which plug/ cable I can use for that? The wiring diagram did not really help me..
Thanks Gernot

Probably best to tap into the red wire to the regulator. It goes straight back to the battery through the 30A fuse. An inline fuse at a lesser rating of say 10A might be a good idea too. That should be enough to power most accessories and be good for charging the battery too.

I always run a new wire back to the battery, pretty easy to do, add an in line fuse, less chance to affect something else. [EG; my Garmin is hard wired back to the battery]
