Well, I finally got the forks reassembled and re-fitted :) .
Now for the brakes.
My 907 has Brembo pads at the front; they are the ones with the spring on. Does anybody know if these are still available, or do I have to source separate anti-rattle springs.
Are the OE/Brembo pads the best choice, or will good quality after-market pads do.
I am fairly certain that I will be putting the bike up for sale when it is finished, so I don't want to fit anything that might deter a potential buyer.

Thank you in advance for any input.

you don't say where in the world you are
I found mine from a shop in Florida carries the entire Brembo line

If you are selling the bike, and the pads have decent life left on them, just sand them down a bit and put them back in. If it works.......
However, if you are selling it to your neighbor, then get the newer pads and the anti-rattle spring plate that fits them.
Also check T.A.W. who sells Brembo stuff. A simple web search will get you there. Same pads as the first Goldline series with the one retention pin, and 40mm mounts. (916, ST2/4, etc.)

Cheers, Phil

Thank you both for your prompt replies.
Sorry Higgy, I thought my location was in my profile. I am in England, so I've added it to my profile now.

I found this viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3705&p=28478&hilit=brake+pads#p28478

The pads I took out of my 907 are like the ones in the photo.
I phoned my nearest Ducati dealer about this today but they were unable to help  . They told me that they sell EBC pads ! I can't believe that it is seemingly so difficult to source something so basic as the correct brake pads for a motorcycle, especially OEM ones from a Ducati dealer.
I suppose I will have to order some springs separately (let's hope that a Ducati dealer can supply those) and fit something cheaper than Brembo pads.

The EBC pads are fine replacements, and probably have a higher friction than the stock ones you seek, they are available, and are probably cheaper.

The stock pads you are looking for have not been made since the Paso was new. I only know of these pads with built in springs since I bought a set of the black calipers (4 pistons) and they had those pads on them. The Goldline Brembo calipers came directly after, and used the spring plate on top of the pads, as has all Brembos since. If you look at the post your referenced, you will see the spring plate on top of the pads on the gold calipers.

I can hardly blame your Ducati dealer for not stocking brake pads that were superseded almost as soon as they were made 20 years ago, and he probably didn't sell many Pasos anyway.

Go with the EBC pads. They work great.

just wondering, can the springs be removed from the old type pads ? Some pads you can buy have the 2 holes

Went over to the Ducati place today (50 mile round trip) and showed them the original pads. They vaguely remembered seeing some like that long ago, kind of.

We did wonder if new pads from Brembo would have the holes in but they said they could only order them at 'my risk'.
I bought the EBC pads !

They put the part number (from the previous link) into their computer and came up with a big nothing.
So, I'm still looking for some anti-rattle springs. Part number anyone? Please?

the part number of the spring I had posted is correct. That`s the Brembo partnumber. It`s the pad spring for the golden P4 30/34C but it may be fitted also on others. The part number from Ducati is 000077782 (or 800077782) but they do charge about 2-3x for the same part. (that`s over €12 ea. instead of ca. €5ea.)
This is a topic about Grimeca calipers and the same spring issue. They show as an alternative also a Yamaha spring which they grind narrower to fit.
