Hi all.I came across a real nice right hand side panel for sale locally so i thought I'd pick it up .You never know when you need a spare. Cheap to boot! Guy picked it up in Tokyo years ago. Got it home and noticed it was fibreglass . The ones on my bike are a black plastic (under the paint). Looks like factory paint and correct scheme( red & charcoal). They are thick vs. race glass . Stamped Fibreglass G.B. and had a D.M serial number. I'd like to get a matching left side . I've read about the plastic covers but not of the fibreglass. Does anyone know about the two different materials being used ? Thanks.

yours are aftermarket. The right fibreglass panel you just bought is original.
