Hello Guy's, its bin a while. But I worked hard on the Paso.
Not everything went smoothly though and I had to overcome some problems:

Don't mind the background :roll:
First I replace the dustcaps of the frontfork

Then we worked at the Disks. It seems I bought two reardisks in stead of two front disks. So not a good deal.

Back to the Mikuni conversion
Fitting the Mikuni carburettor

With Dynojet stage 1 needles and mainjet for a Monster 750

K&N snowmobile filters (the only one to fit and hopefully no rain and wet condition problems)

Making a setup to check the vacuum and adjust and synchronise the carburettors.

Please pay attention at the connection of the vacuumlines. Also one to the Magnetti Marelli computer.

This is how we solved the Fuel problems.

The returnline is ofcourse connected! This is the upperline back into the aluminium container.

The engine runs fine at low revs. But I wont run past 6000 rpm.
The Idea is that the monster Jets are to small. What to do?
Shall we try the original Monster 900 Jets (which were in the Mikuni carbs)?

I have read most of the Mikuni post but can't find this problem.

Next time I will have more detailed photos of the settings!

I also think you would have to put the 900's jets, 'cause the Paso has valves bigger than the Monster.
Where have you found the dust seals?

here another way to mount airfilters on Mikuni. Received the pic from a Paso owner longer time ago (don`t think it`s good thouh as it takes the air from the hot cylinder)

My Paso have mikunis from 600 monster, with main jets 150 and 1.6 mm washers under the circlips of the needles. KN cylindrics filters (RU-0800 model). They are a little too voluminous and I have a little flattened near the frame...
My home-made mufflers are very free. I think that she could run better at high rpm with bigger jets...But under 7000rpm it is OK She drinks a lot: 8 l/100 km (if riding fast... not always legal)
